This stunning antique Venetian millefiori glass trade bead was crafted in Venice, Italy, and dates back to the early 1900s. As referenced in Picard, Volume VI, page 67 (bead 2045), this large bead is a rare find and a beautiful representation of African trade beads that were exchanged across West Africa.
