Rare AUTHENTIC large BODOM with "Cruciform decoration" (Powder glass with trailed decoration) African trade bead.
BODOM beads were made by the people of Krobo (Ghana).
Even the Venetians tried to copy this beads by producing reproductions.
The bead is in very good condition (minor decoration loss and 1 air bubble please see photo 3) with black core.
The size of the bead is 30 X 26 mm, used in the African trade late 1800's to early 1900's.
