Beautiful very LARGE powder glass bead made by the people of Kroboland (Ghana, West Africa) to imitate old and very rare "AKOSO" bead.
Old BODOM and AKOSO beads are highly collectible made by the people of Krobo late 1800's early 1900's.
The size of the bead is 48 X 30 mm.
The bead is in very good condition (lightly chipped at the end).
Made in the 1970's from recycled old Venetian glass trade beads (Mostly broken yellow wound disk , yellow king beads etc) that are turned into powder, then into molds in order to create this nice looking bead.
The bead is 100 % handmade.
