A beautiful necklace handmade from NEW translucent powder glass African beads and NEW Ashanti / Akan brass beads strung on a 1.5mm Korean cord.
The brass bead is made in the Ashanti region ( Kumasi - Ghana , West Africa ) using the Ancient "Lost wax" technique.
A mold is prepared for each bead that is destroyed in order to remove the bead !
For each bead a hand made mold from wax is needed !
The glass beads ( Krobo land - Ghana , West Africa ) are made from bottles and other glass items that are turned into powder, then into molds in order to create this nice looking beads.
The necklace is 22 1/2" ( 57 cm ) long ( of beads ).
The sizes of the beads are 10 - 11 mm in diameter.
The size of the long brass bead is app. 26 X 10 X 7 mm.
All beads are 100 % handmade.
YOUR NECKLACE WILL BE IDENTICAL TO THE ONE SHOWN IN THE PHOTOGRAPH ( GIVEN NORMAL VARIATION SINCE THESE BEADS ARE ALL COMPLETELY HANDMADE ).
