The Krobo people have perfected the art of creating beautiful recycled glass beads through a meticulous process. Small size glass beads are collected, cleaned, and placed in clay molds. These molds are then fired at high temperatures, fusing the glass fragments together without melting them entirely, resulting in beads with preserved colors and translucent beauty. These vibrant beads, often used in ceremonies and as symbols of status, hold deep cultural significance in Ghana and Africa.
