These unique beads are made using a fascinating process that highlights the ingenuity and sustainability of the Krobo artisans. Small size glass beads are used as the raw material, which are carefully placed into molds. These molds determine the shape and size of the final beads. The molds are then fired in a kiln at high temperatures, fusing the small beads together to form larger, solid beads. This process results in vibrant, opaque beads with intricate patterns and colors.
