Introducing our exquisite Tabular African Brass Beads, meticulously handcrafted by the skilled artisans of Ashanti in Ghana, West Africa. Each bead is shaped using the ancient and revered "Lost wax" technique, ensuring that each piece is unique and rich in cultural heritage.

Dimensions:

  • Strand Length: Approximately 25 inches (63.5 cm) - measured from bead to bead
  • Bead Size: 41-46 mm x 18-20 mm x 9 mm

Note: YOUR STRAND WILL BE IDENTICAL TO THE STRAND SHOWN IN THE PHOTOGRAPH (GIVEN NORMAL VARIATION SINCE THESE BEADS ARE ALL COMPLETELY HANDMADE).

The lost wax process begins with sculpting each bead in wax, followed by encasing them in a mold which is then destroyed to reveal the shaped brass—showcasing a blend of artistry and alchemy. These beads are not just adornments; they are a testament to Ghanaian craftsmanship and carry the spirit of Africa.

The tradition of brass bead-making in Ghana is steeped in history and represents more than mere beauty. These beads signify wealth, creativity, and a deep connection to African heritage. Wearing these beads connects you to the timeless legacy of the Ashanti craftsmanship.
