Four rare OLD AUTHENTIC matching AKOSO Powder glass with inserted Venetian Green heart African trade beads.
Akoso were made by the people of Krobo, Ghana, West Africa.
Even the Venetian bead makers tried to copy AKOSO beads by producing reproductions.
The beads are in very good condition (beveled, see photos).
The sizes of the beads are 17-18 mm in length and 12 mm in diameter.
Used in the African trade from late 1800's to early 1900's.
