About the Lost Wax Technique:

The lost wax casting technique is an ancient method used in Ghana for centuries, notably by the Ashanti people. Wax models are intricately carved for each bead, then encased in clay. After the wax is melted out, molten brass is poured into the mold. The mold is then broken, and the result is a unique brass bead with exquisite details. Brass beads have historically held significant value in Ghana, symbolizing wealth, social status, and cultural identity.
