ASASE YE DURU - (Mother earth has weight). It represents the importance of earth in the traditional religion of Akan. It’s a symbol of power and divinity. The size of the symbol is approximately 11/16” x 3/8” (17 mm x 9 mm).

DUAFE - (Depicts Wooden comb). Akan women used wooden combs to plaid there hair. Duafe is a symbol of femininity, beauty and care. The size of the symbol is approximately 11/16” x ½” (17 mm x 13 mm).

GYE NYAME - (Nothing but God). People should not fear anything except God. Its a symbol of the Supremacy of God and it expresses the deep faith of the Akan people for God. The size of the symbol is approximately 5/8” x ½” (16 mm x 13 mm).

NYAME DUA - (Tree of God). It’s the sacred altar where the Akans perform there rituals. It symbolizes Gods presence and Protection. The size of the symbol is approximately 11/16” x 9/16” (17 mm x 14 mm).

DENKYEM - (Depicts Crocodile). Even thought that the crocodile lives in the water, it breathes air and It’s a symbol of Adaptability and cleverness. In order to succeed in life people must adapt to any situation. The size of the symbol is approximately 5/8” x 3/8” (16 mm x 9 mm).
