Tribalgh
Beautiful strand of BLUE 6-layers (often called "gooseberry") Venetian drawn with unmolded layers glass trade beads (Picard, Volume VII, p.61, strand 2).
The strand is in very good condition (some beads are chipped), used in the African trade early 1900's.
The necklace is 26" (66 cm) long.
The size of the beads is 6 - 8 mm in diameter.
